Wish me luck here..
Post if you run into any problems or have any questions
Im contemplating it as well... Kinda nervous
Stop being a sisi and dive in,lol. We all felt like that at some point and must of made it with no problems,so if u feel capable of doing it stop thinking about it and get going.
sooooo, where do I get this hboot modified USB driver. he is on a page in the vid that I dont have....crap!
I was worried at first, I am coming from one click jailbreaking of iPhones and homebrew on the Palm Pre.
I managed to root my 2.2 Evo with relative ease. Just read all of the instructions carefully, then read them again. Really make sure you understand what you are about to do. If you're not sure, ask.
If you install HTC sync, it should put the driver on your computer. If you're running windows7 x64, you'll need the version of Sync mentioned in the 2.2 root procedure.
I found the driver, but when I try to extract I get copy errors. I am on X64 Win 7.
Come on guys you know you wanna
Please tell me what to do now that I cannot extract the modified USB driver??
