Hi everyone! I'm having some trouble with my P500, and since I'm a complete newb in the Android department, I'm hoping to get advice from some experienced users.

My P500 is locked in Vodafone. I left it at a GSM shop to get it unlocked. They overwritten a v10 ROM over my existing v20 ROM. It was completely dead; they 'revived' it with RIFF Box, but now it's stuck in Emergency Mode. They are telling me that there's nothing they can do, there isn't a v20 ROM that they can use yet, so we have to wait until it appears on the net...
Can't they simply write a v10? Or isn't there already a v20 available for download somewhere? At least for the functionality that it had before... I'm pretty sick of waiting around for these guys, it's been 3 weeks now.

    Thanks for your time.

I've got v20 files somewhere and the link to fix your issue...

They are FTP'ing in from one of our other unlocking shops to this shop.

I also did this to a customers p500 a couple of weeks ago. However, I gave it them back with V20 back on it.

Does the phone go into emergency/download mode?

Tell you what, I have 2 coming over from another shop to unlock and debrand this weekend. When Ive completed them I will post the solution I used.

[HOWTO] Flashing baseband (radio) via LGMDP.exe - xda-developers

All the info you need I think is in that link :D

This is how I have just brought this V20 back to life. It was orig attempted with V10 flash for unlock by accident somewhere else, not realising it was a v20. P.s. Now Unlocked by code:rolleyes:

    Hope this helps...

I've got my hands on the phone. Unfortunately, I can't get it to install any ROM.

    Error:

Also the NV data is empty, that can't be good right?

I've tried KDZ FIRMWARE UPDATER, with the original firmware:
