Remote start on the Droid would be sweet.

i don't really see the use for it. i mean, i guess it could work as a remote, but i'd rather just spend the $20 on the real thing.

Personally I would use it as a keyboard when typing messages and entering text into other fields. Better than spending $40-50 on the keypad they sell.

I have 4 remotes and the more I can get rid of and put on the phone the better.

I hate having a bunch of remote controls. I bought a Harmony remote which is great but the one thing you can't do is control a PS3 because it uses bluetooth. You can get a bluetooth adapter for the remote but it is expensive and it sucks. If there was a PS3 remote app I would pay as much as it took to get it.

Is there anyway to pair the ps3 controller to the phone? It would be nice for emulators.
