Palm user contemplating Droid

I have used Palm OS devices for years (Palm, Handspring, Sony Clie, Palm Zire 72, now a Treo 750P). I need something that can run SOFTWARE as follows:

Pocket Quicken (this is MANDATORY as I use my PDA as my check register)
Contact Manager similar to ACT! for Palm (I currenlty use Agendus but am not happy with the performance)
Docs to Go (especially the Excel spreadsheets)

Does anyone know if there is really a Palm OS emulator coming, or is that just wishful thinking?
