I love listening to music and I love Pandora Radio. But I am new to Android OS and I have chosen the 200 MB Data Plan. Which I think is sufficient because I am always connected to WiFi whether it is at school, work or home. But Pandora uses a lot of data usage so I have a couple questions about it. Will it still use data even if it is not in use? If I am already connected to WiFi will it use WiFi? And is there an option on it that will only connect to WiFi networks? Thank you for your help!

When it is not running Pandora does not use data that I have noticed.

No it does not have a setting to only connect to a WiFi. Though it does show a dialog box when you start Pandora and are not on a WiFi.

You only have 40hrs free per month. When you don't log out of pandora, your time is still running. (Even when paused.) You can place a widget on the home screen. this way, you will not have to enter your password everytime you want to listen to music.

If you are worried about data usage I would recommend slacker radio. Personally I like it a lot better, plus if you pay for the service it offers an option to cache stations where it will update over wifi, then you need no data at all to listen to your stations.

Pandora does not appear to limit for phone listening. However, it does for PC listening.

Ya know, I think your right about that. I listen to pandora more on my phone then on the PC. When I try and add up the hours for both phone and PC use, I seem to have more hours left then I should. (Go figure.) Still a blessing though. :D
