Root partition sd card after flash mikg3.0

I rooted my husband's phone and flashed mikg3.0.

He is getting a new sd card. Can I partition his sd card after I flashed the rom?

Yes, you can partition the card at any time.

So I save what's on the sd card before I partition and then paste it back on the card after I partition. Do I copy and paste everything on the sd card? Will in be pasted into any special location or will it just look like regular storage?

The easiest way is just to copy and paste everything to your desktop and then when your finished copy and paste it back. Windows won't actually recognize the partition so you'll just paste it back on the card like normal.

Whenyou partition the SD Card and copy and paste the content back to the card will you still be able to restore for the backup previously save to the card? because I have nand backupon the card i would not like to losed

You will still be able to use any nandroids

i would also recommend that you save at least one nandroid backup on your computer as well as the cloud. i have my original nandroid that i made when i first rooted in my dropbox account.
