Hey guys,

Great to be here. Proud new owner of the galaxy s and really like it so farr although I have to admit I find it is somewhat laggy at times.. Wonder is iPhone users have the same gripe.. hmm... Anyway, my question to those of you who might know is about Password safe. I'm sick of fforgetting all my passwords and having to constantly reset so I installed password safe lite on my android, question is, will it really keep my passwords safe and for my eyes only or does anyone know if this app has any ulterior motives such as copying my passwords and sending them off to some guy sat in front of a computer...?

Thanks for your answers!

Banana

Welcome to Android Forums!

does anyone know if this app has any ulterior motives such as copying my passwords and sending them off to some guy sat in front of a computer...?

There are two "Password Safe Lite" apps in the Market, by Rhythm Software and Kuffs, but neither require any network permissions so I'd say that your concern, although very sensible, is unfounded.

Feel safe about using it now!

I wonder if you wouldn't mind answering another question if you can (I know I'm going off topic but the earlier question was answered so..)

Anyways, I am really concerned that there seems to be no way to backup ALL my apps in KIES and so far the only suggested offerings online are ones that require rooting you phone e.g. Titanium Backup et al... I don't want to root my phone (at least not now) So how can I backup all my apps!!?!? I've tried "Astro" which doesn't seem to work the way I expected it to.. I find it really amazing that samsung have not included a way to back up apps onto your computer safely and easily so that they can be reintegrated to the phone after a system format or if something happened to your phone.. Am I missing something?! Is there such a function/free app that allows NON rooted phones to do this simple task!?!

Thanks again!

thank you for the thread..I am also interested in a simple secure password program.
I do have b folders and it seems to be a very good program to keep information private and it will do passwords. I just feel that i want a program that with minimum clicks i get to what i want...thank you
also i am using My Backup Pro. So far it is the best i found....always looking for better.
It will not do every app i install.
