PC based contact list manager?

Is there a PC based client that can make and transfer contact lists to the Fascinate - besides using Gmail?

I've got a situation where someone wants to put their whole paper based client list on their phone, some 200+ contacts, and they don't use Gmail.
So I'm going to have to type this thing up, and integrate emails while doing it.
The thought of having to type it in on the phone is not encouraging.

Anyone run across something like that before?

On another side note, any good way of limiting what contacts you receive from Gmail? It updated my phone and I've got maybe 20 I actually talk with and 350 contacts I don't care about now.

Oh and now I get to be an official SF/ Android owner.

Not really no. Just make an account specially for those contacts. Add the account, and sync em up. It's going to be the easiest way. A few extra steps creating an account but at least you wont have to type em all on a phone!

Only other thing I discovered was to try and make a csv file via Excel
and there's a couple of apps on the market that may or may not work
for importing directly.

I ended up typing the 40 or so most important contacts in by hand though.
