Pc playlist support

I have just upgraded from a note 3 to the S7 edge and with it I put my micro Sd card. All my playlists are missing yet if you look in my files the music and the mp3 files and their playlist are in the playlist folder it's using extention .pla yet when goto playlists in both Google music and Samsung music the playlist screens are empty. Before you used to be able to simply drag and drop files into playlist from the PC right click the files you want and select create playlist. I can't be dealing with the hassle of making the playlist again is there a work round?

Have you tried rebooting just so it will initiate a media scan?
