Potential new user here. I've looked at some threads that may cover this subject but was not sure I understood, primarily be cause of the "jargon" used. Here is what would like to do. Using a stock Motorola Droid 2 (one with keyboard), connect my PC wireless to the Droid and then connect to the internet. Currently I use Time Warner/RoadRunner to connect (in-house wireless). I travel so that would mean I could use the Droid as my interface to the internet at home or on the road. I then could drop Time Warner/RoadRunner connection. Easy to do?

Yes, it's called tethering. You'll have to root the phone to do it, or pay Verizon a hotspot fee if they offer it as a feature on the phone.

Thanks! How do I tether? Does it void warranty with the phone/Verizon?
