Help PDAnet widget get error=31, anyone else?

Basically if I start pdanet by pressing the usb icon on the widget I get this error:
Connecting to your device....
Connecting to data network....
verifying user name and password...
Dialup failed, error=31 (state=5)

Now the wierd thing is that if i go into the pdanet app and enable USB Tether it works fine. Anyone else experience this?

Let me add that I've reinstalled the APP on my phone.
