I apologize if this is in the wrong place; I didn't think it should go in the individual phone forums.

My contract is up with Sprint and I'm thinking about getting the Nexus 5 directly from Google. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch (Sprint). I'm wondering if I'll notice any real world difference between the two phones (other than my GPS actually working again).

I use the phone for email, listening to music, light web browsing, and the occasional game.

    Thanks for the help!

Yeah the nexus 5 and any post 2012 high end phone will be a huge improvement on the s2.
The s2 was an excellent phone but the next generation of phones (the s3 and htc one X) just brought in a new era.
Instead of dual youll have quad core running at a much faster speed with more memory :)

Everything will feel snapper and app/games will launch and load allot faster.

Also if you play any 3d games performance will improve massively.

Yes, the Nexus 5 will be much faster then your S2 :)

Helpful hint - when you buy a Nexus 5 from Google you'll need to get a SIM card from Sprint, even though Sprint is CDMA.
