Dumb question, I rooted my droid, and I am trying to get the froyo 2.2 custom rom on my phone. When I go int my apps and go to the ninja icon, I don't have anything in there, and I guess there is supposed to be something like setup in red? So when I try to do a custom recovery before I do the rom, I can't flash any of the commands under terminal. It says permission denied. I guess my question is, is how do I fix this? '

I have tried the suggestion of clearing the cache several times and deleting the partitions and all user data several times.

If you are in the terminal type su and hit the enter key. You should be prompted to give the terminal emulator access to root. Once you are in root be very careful what you do.

Did you type SU in the terminal (for Super User)?
