The Google Tasks app wants to manage my tasks, but I don't want it to. It asks me for permission, and I tell it no. A few hours later, it asks again. I tell it no again. Is there any way to make it quit asking?

[On edit: I originally referred to "Google Task Manager", and misled Brian706 as to what I was talking about. Sorry for the confusion.]

Thanks for the response. I mean Google Tasks, not Task Manager. Sorry for the confusion. It has to do with calendar tasks, I think, not apps running on my phone. I do leave those for Android to manage.

Meanwhile, I found a setting which may solve my problem: Settings/Phone/Sound & notification/Notification/App notifications/Tasks/Block. I set it to block notifications from the Tasks app, so I'm hoping that'll do the trick. I'll give it twenty-four hours or so, and report back.
