Help Personal language data not working?

Hi all. It's been a couple of months now but I have been super busy to post (only time to read).

I rely a lot on my phone saving words I use a lot that are not regular words (simple ones like 'ur' instead of 'your'). For the last 6 weeks or so it just doesn't remember them at all. And every time I have to reenter them in a new message. What's weird is that it remembers it in the same conversation window let's say in WhatsApp but if I closed it then it won't remember it if I came back.

Any ideas?

did you switch keyboards? and did you turn on that feature in that app?

No I didn't switch keyboards. And yes it is switched on.
