i downloaded it last night it works great. I even installed the leaked netflix apk (the one ported for droid x and og droid, its on the xda site) and followed the rewriting build.prop instructions and it works.

edit: ignore the instructions it useless

Installed last night and my phone had never been better...smooth, fast (using pete's 1.20 kernel), haven't found any bugs, and basically speechless...AMAZING ROM, BIG UPS TO PETER ALFONSO!!!

Had to add quad scores are amazing, a lot of freed memory, and a huge smile on my face!!

Lol, there's always something wrong with the GB roms. I'm sticking with Froyo till the Bionic comes out. What's needed when one of these GB roms comes out is for it to be tested good, such as does the 3g cut out, can it multitask, are the notification leds working, etc. Save everyone alot of headaches.

I ran GPA15 for a few days but went back to BB 0.6.2. There were odd little UI bugs that popped up from time time, and my signal seemed to get a lot worse.

Besides that the ROM was really quick...

Am I the only one who had phone issues with GPA15? I made probably 9 different calls, and on each of them I couldn't hear a dial tone, or the person on the other line. I quickly recovered my UD 3.3 flash and everything worked perfect. Damn bugs.

EDIT: Found the fix on Peter's site. If you encounter the problem, simply restart your phone. So simple right? I should've thought of that...

I'm pretty sure my phone was experiencing the 3G data bug that other folks are seeing in GB builds on their Droid. I would lose data connection from time to time, and I'd have to go into airplane mode to get it back. Kind of a pain.

I have to say that my 3g connection has been pretty awesome. I get the data connection back immediately after ending a call which is nice since with GPA14 I had to wait a bit sometimes.

Im loving this! The only thing I am encountering occasionally is my 3G will quit responding and I have to restart the phone to get it back. Any ideas?

this build is much better than the previous ones that I used.

I do tend to see data errors after making calls. It seems to be tied to bluetooth in some form but it is not 100% reproducible.

The fix for me has always to be airplane mode, then back on and data returns very quickly.

Other than that this is a great ROM.

I was having all sorts of little bugs, then went back to Pete's version 1 kernal (1GHz), and everything smoothed out perfectly. Not sure what was up, as I tried several of his v2 kernals, but my Droid just didn't behave. GPA15 is running perfectly now :) Oh, and the Netflix fix is awesome!

Mahovader, good call man, I flashed back to Petes V1 1GHz lv kernal and bam, fixed the 3G after call issue. So, guess there is a bug in there Pete needs to iron out.

Glad it helped you as well :) I don't think most people were having issues, but switching kernals definitely helped mine. I have noticed these GPA builds are very persnicketty about wiping before installing, which remedies most issues.

Tried that to, wiped it and cleared it all 3 times to make sure, still did it. The wierd part though is that everything works fine for a bit after I first install it, can make a call and stuff and 3G comes right back, its only after I have had the phone on for a while will it quit working right.

I'm not having any troubles with 3G coming back anymore, but you might try one of Chevy1's new GB kernals. His always worked well for my Droid.

I just went and flashed the 1ghz SV kernel. I will run with this for a few days. Pete did tweet that he loves his droid with the 1 GHZ kernel. he just didn't say which one.

My 3g is rockin just fine, but I had to go back to Pete's v.01 600 mhz cause his V.02 that is stock on GPA15 was roasting my phone and having redraw lag. No redraw lag with v.01.

I've been running 15 for several days now, and the stock kernel was meh... so I went back to the 1.1gig LV kernel of his I was running with 14, and all is better now. Still cant get my netflix to work though, it doesnt seem to like my login/password combo that works just fine on the netflix website.

Hmm, curiously enough, I just realized that docking my phone, or usb connect of any kind, gives me no options to enable/disable mass storage more or debugging. As a matter of fact there is no USB notification bar at all when docked, and I can't for the life of me find an option to enable/disable it in settings. All good, I was going to try flashing chevy's SS to show a friend but I guess I'll go to bed now :D

Can't you just use wifi to get the SS rom zip?

I never thought of it, actually. I just flashed a stock gpa14, connected and downloaded, and then flashed the new rom. Never had that usb issue before, and i'll have to keep an eye out in the future for it to reoccur.
