On the Like vs Thank debate, i like having both options. Like going for comments that i agree with or find humorous, Thanks for actually helpful tips and advice, the pre release thread for the Nexus could have used the like button for sure.

Feedback? O-tay! First of all, I have to say, the Phandroid news section is tremendously improved. It was pretty bad looks-wise before, now it actually looks great! On the forum side, it didn't need as much improvement, so not as dramatic. I think it looks ok, clean and minimalistic, fits with what Android is doing. I don't like that Android Forums has been removed. I liked the separation from Phandroid. Plus Android Forums just sounds so much better. If you tell someone "I'm on Android Forums", its pretty self explanatory. If you say "I'm on Phandroid" you have to explain, "its like Android plus fan, but it's spelled with a ph...for some reason...I think they're huge fans of the Phillie Phanatic or something lol".

The line at the top of each post looks weird, especially with a short post, I keep thinking I'm looking at their signature. Not a big deal, though, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I never saw the point of the like button. The thanks button has functioned well as a de facto hybrid thanks/like button forever. Having both just confuses people which one to push, evidenced by people having to explain "to me thanks means x and like means y". If you want to give someone a special thank you for helping out, how about typing "thank you"? Crazy, right? Adding like just seems like jumping on the Farcebook bandwagon. Either way, just pick one.

It seemed to be loading really slowly earlier, but seems better now, so maybe it was just a lot of people checking out the new look.

Overall I think you've done a great job. I'm sure things like fuzzy buttons and blinding brightness will get worked out in no time. Bring back the Android Forums name and drop the like button and you'll be golden.

Thanks for toning it down some fellas. The greyish color is a lot easier on the eyes and I like the clean look too.;) :D

Love it. Much cleaner and less rendering. I love the flatter colours on the buttons.

I agree with these guys, I think a light charcoal gray would look nice on the sides. With the blue sides it kinda focused you to the center and made it easier to read.
I definitely like the separate buttons. Sometimes you want to say thanks for a comment and there is no need to link to that post like the like option. Having them separate makes it easier to have that community feel being able to show your appreciation, and have likes for when a solution or specific info is provided.

I do like most of the other changes though. Thanks for all the work.

When I'm on the page with the list of threads in the forum, how do I get to the pictures forum members have posted?

    Site looks good.
Logo looks creepy. Sort of reminds me of a guy with candy trying to get kids into his van.

I like most of the changes. It seems to be a lot brighter now which I am not a fan of. I prefer dark backgrounds as it's much easier on the eyes - otherwise I like the buttons all being similar (except the 'LIKE' button which should really find a home by the others).

I like it, it looks less cluttered. Font is a little small though.

It is a bit plain but fine, the issue I have is wasted space. I have ALOT of room on both sides with nothing in it and this is a 4:3 monitor at work and my 16:9 at home. Seems it could be expanded out or allowed to expand out a bit and use the real estate better. If not, maybe a background for the page to hide the fact that it is empty.

The site was thin before, too. I wonder whether it is thinner or just more noticeable now.

Kinda suits me though personally, since I'm zoomed in all the time.

I wonder if it was a conscious choice way back when, to accommodate a multitude of mobile devices?

While most of our mobile browsers automatically load and adjust the page to fit the current display, maybe there are devices that can't or don't?

I'd rather have a smaller viewing window when I'm on my PC if it means that when I'm out and about on my mobile device that the page loads quicker, know what I mean? Better to have it one way than to have to worry about different skins, settings, modes, extra applications, etc.

I didn't read the entire thread, but I would suggest making the buttons (Reply, Quote, etc) using CSS instead of images. This would inherently solve the fuzzy text problem, and save some bandwidth.

The white background was beautiful, but unfortunately - it wasn't good on the eyes. Love the color it is now. However, the space is still noticeable on the right hand side of the page. Hopefully all reported bugs will be sorted as soon as possible.

Yea, the borders might be for good reasons like device support and that is fine. The change from white to grey has helped, it doesn't stand out so much. I still think a back ground image for the CSS would help. Would add some color and hide the area better while still allowing the page to support more machines and devices.

Please don't take this as a complaint, just trying to help with feedback.
