Help Phandroid app usage

Have just checked my gsam battery usage app and phandroid app is showing 28% usage (top of list),compared to facebook's 7% which I would say I use more

Anyone else find this?

Which Phandroid app? The one with the forums tacked on or the news app? The forum app is old, never really got out of beta and is still pretty buggy. One of the big problems with it was excessive battery drain. It's no longer supported unfortunately.

I'd go with tapatalk or forumrunner. There is talk of a new tapatalk based app, but I'm not sure what the current state of play is with that.

It is the app and seems to be ok to me but not tried the others yet ;-)

I have sorted it now though by going into settings and turning off background sync,which I forgot about after a recent reset

Damn them 2 apps are payable
Far too tight to pay for something unless it's crucial like copilot etc
