I'm sorry to ask this, as I asked it on the day of the phone's release, but I've got to try again.

Does anyone use the Phandroid app? And if so, when you do a battery swap or battery pull are you left with the Phandroid icon in your notification bar? I do and I have to clear it every time by going into the app's settings.

Does this seem right to anyone? Does anyone have a fix other than not using the app?

    Thank you.

Yes, I use it. And yes, after I open and use the app and then close it the app leaves that annoying icon in my nav bar at the top...really makes me mad...lol! I have to go and do a force stop every time to kill it also. I hope there is a fix, because it REALLY makes me NOT want to use the app.

They really need to do an update on this app. This is the same app they've had out for years now. Apps, Search, and profile still say "coming soon". Has said that since the app was originally released.

I don't use the app. I just bookmark this specific Note 3 forum then paste it on my home screen. Works perfectly.

Okay, I'm trying the tapatalk thing, but having never used it, it feels really foreign. Any advice? Thanks.

LOL! Never knew it was supported. Felt like it was built and then immediately abandoned...but maybe that is just me :D

I may give Tapatalk a whirl and see how it does.

OK. Got tapatalk installed. Now how do I bookmark or make the Note 3 forum a favorite? I.e. so I can go right to it. That isbthe only section I use.

Now having used tapatalk for a couple of days, it's really pretty slick. Thanks for the advice. The Phandroid app is officially off of my phone. No more annoying logo in my notification bar!
