Okay anyone who lives in Philadelphia. The Nexus One on AT&T can only use EDGE. Does anybody know how fast EDGE is if you live here?

Doesn't Philadelphia have the fastest 3G in the whole nation since that's where T-Mobile is testing the upgrade?

I've got no idea! But either way I'm talking about EDGE. Because 3G is really fast, does that mean that EDGE is also?

No it doesn't mean EDGE is faster. EDGE usually has a realistic max around 200Kbps vs 200Kbps-7000Kbps for 3G. If you're luck you'll get between 100-200Kbps most of the time.

He wasn't asking about T-Mobile now was he?

Thanks. Anyway, this is resolved. I'm near WiFi most of the time anyway.
