Phone Automatic on/off

Hi everyone,

I have just gotten a Samsung galaxy S3 and I am still discovering features, so I apologise if this has been asked previously.

I want to know if there is any way to set an automatic on/off for the device. What I mean is, can I set it so my phone automatically turns itself off at 10pm (for e.g.) and then turns itself back on at say 6am (or whenever the alarm is set).

I have found the blocking mode to stop notifications, but I was hoping to save power overnight by turning the phone off, but still be able to use the alarm function.

welcome to AF.

I am afraid I am not aware of any option to have the phone turning itself off and back on again.

Whilst you could probably find some sort of scheduler to power the phone off, you won't be able to turn it back on again
