    Hi Guys,

Well I never thought I'd be posting this..... so here goes.

Yesterday morning my S7 dropped while sitting on top of my backpack and slid off onto concrete (maybe 18" down???) and the screen broke. It looks like it hit in the top left corner of the phone, spidered out 1/2 an ince and has 3 cracks that run the length of the phone.

This upset me quite a bit but wasn't the end of the world by any means, the device still functioned 100%.

Finished up the day and filed an insurance claim with AMEX since it was within 90 days of purchase.

Went home, set my alarm, put it on the wireless charger, and went to bed.

This morning I wake up to no alarm and my phone appears to be bricked! The message displayed on the phone is:

    "
Bootloader exception (this is in red)
    [ RST_STAT = 0x10000000] (this is in red)
EVT 1.0 (this is in green)

    pc : 0x8f012f98 lr : 0x8f022938 sp : 0x8f10be90 (this is in red)

I can't get it out of this state. If I hold power and volume down the phone auto-reboots and displays this again.
Does anyone have any idea how to help? any different button combinations / ways to force ODEN to work?

I'm sorry for your loss. That's horrible.

Try holding Hold Power + Volume Up + Menu and see if you can factory reset.

Sorry to hear. Keep us updated and ask them what was wrong so we know if anybody ever has the same issue as you and searches Google.
