Support phone got wet

    hi
    i had gone to the beach and my phone got wet from a huge wave. my phne ws in my hand and it didnt evn fell into the water. when i reached home i realised water had seeped into the phones flip cover. I cnt either switch it on?of.. can anyone please tell me wht to do.....it is a htc desire 620g

    They are many things you can try or even buy. But firstly you should take the phone case off, if you can remove the battery and SD card do so and place them within an airing cupboard to dry out for at least a day.

    But you can also buy specialist bags you put your phone in that dry them out.

    It may be too late, but if the battery is removable do so immediately.
    Unfortunately if this happened at the beach it was presumably salt water which is far more damaging than fresh water. If the phone was on and salt water got into it then the damage is already done regardless of whether it can be dried out. I suggest you start looking at new phones as you'll probably be going shopping very soon.
