This is not a first-time solution to the problem of holding a phone but the awkward size of GN2 made dropping it a possibility for me - my last phone finally hit the floor one to may times due to my carelessness. The Velcro pieces are mounted on a snap-on back case. Finger slips easliy under the thin cloth strap and I can hold the phone sideways, upside down with no fear of it dropping.

There has to be a better solution. Kudos on finding a solution that works for you, but I'm kinda picky on the way my phone looks. I didnt pay over $300 to add velcro and ribbon to it.

I use clear egrips on the back and sides to give it some grip.

I just wish they would have something that doesn't stick to the phone/case but rather clamps on... Still looking for it...

I found the solution to this dilemma by accident....i simply use the "kickstand" from my verizon case.....and does not look tacky :) and folds back into place smooth as ice !!
