Phone in a constant reboot loop after oreo update

I was prompted earlier to update the phone which i have done, but it's constantly looping after i enter my pin to start up the phone? What do i do? Has this screwed my phone? It's been doing this the past 2 hours!

Had Samsungs but soz don't have the phone but the first thing I'd try would be hold power until it turns off. Then press power again to turn it on and see if it boots properly. If not try booting into recovery mode by turning off your phone. Then hold power, volume up and menu. Select reboot from there and see what happens. If not, boot into recovery and clear cache and try again. Try those first as there's a couple more options but those might be overkill

On a side note is the Samsung screen the animated (moving) or the still one?

Was the phone rooted or modified in anyway prior to applying the update?

I got it sorted folks. I had to factory reset the entire thing as there was broken system files. I managed to get it onto another screen where it said installing system update and then it said no command. The factory reset did the trick, thank god.
