Help phone is locked through gmail account. please help!

i have a samsung moment. after my kids played with the phone they ended up locking the phone through the gmail account but i never set up a gmail account. can someone help me with this problem please

Menu/Privacy/Factory data reset.

You cannot get to the home screen even after power-off and on?? Then do the following:
- Pull the battery and put it back
- Push and hold buttons VolDown-Talk-End to get into Recovery mode
- Factory reset

You mean your mobile phone number? No, it will erase only the installed apps and data. After doing this your phone will be back to how it was when you received it in mail.
