I have a rooted moment running joeys 1.9.1 custom rom, and maxx's recovery 2.0. I am running battery left, beautiful widgets, pure calendar, voice mail widgets running on my screens. The weather channel is reporting in the notification area. I did have setcpu running with profiles but just uninstalled it about 10 minutes ago. Though I'm not sure because after went to root my phone was working faster and the battery was lasting, so I went on an app binge. Here is a list of my installed apps. ASTRO (2.2.4)

    Just another update on statistics.
    Running time 100% 1 hrs 52 min 29 seconds
    Screen on 3.4% 3 min 52 seconds
    Phone 1 min 13 seconds

This just doesn't seem right in my opinion and I know my phone was lasting a lot longer until I went on the app binge.

There are a ton of variables that people don't look at as far as battery usage goes...

    - Is the location feature turned on for your camera?
    - How often is your mail pulling?
    - Do you have a twitter/facebook/rss feed program pulling data also?
    - Did speedtest shut down the GPS function or is it still on?
    - Are your ad supported apps shutting down the connection after you exit?
    - What's your screen brightness set at?

These are just a few biggies, but also do you put the phone in your pocket? If so, are you pressing the buttons and letting the screen go on and off without knowing it?

Just a few thoughts to check out.

Well I really shouldn't post at work while in a rush. I uninstalled everything basically and it still was running 100%. Well I had a back up thankfully from when I first rooted and restored everything. I reinstalled my apps except for setcpu and it is sleeping fine now. After I did that my run time at one point was at 9% over a 6 hour period. So I guess setcpu when I made the profiles did something that made changes that couldn't easily be undone.
