I saw there was a thread about this issue a few weeks ago. My phone keeps 'restarting' pretty much everytime I exit out of apps. This has started happening a lot more now and its really peeing me off now! Was there a solution?

What kind of phone do you have? Is it rooted? And if so, have you overclocked the processor?

No it's not rooted, just a standard sensation!

Mine was doing the same - try removing the battery while the phone is still turned on and waiting for 2 minutes before replacing again. It seems to have more or less sorted the problem on mine (I think it's classed as a soft reset).

Are you using a task killer? If so, remove it from phone and your issue should sort itself out

Thank you - will I loose any data if I was to do a soft reset?

Also, I havent got a task killer installed. I've tried using the one that came with the phone a few times and have noticed that it solves the problem for a tiny while

My phone is going off to HTC UK repair tomorrow as I am sick to the teeth of the white screen nearly everytime I exit an app, text, email etc.....

Also, I now have dust gathering under the screen.

And, I cannot get another launcher like Go to set as my default, I have done EVERYTHING possible to get a 3rd parry launcher to see as default and it won't. Selecting default, clearing default I'm Sense..... The fella in HTC said this is definetly a software fault as his accepts Go as a 3rd party launcher as default.
