Hi everyone. Please help me with this issue... I have no idea what to do :S.

A few weeks ago I noticed my battery life went from lasting 24 hours to barely lasting 10, sometimes less. So I got a new battery and no change! In two hours the new battery went from 100% to 83%. This is definitely not going to last 24 hours... Yes I've seen the threads here that you should turn off WiFi and 3G but the point is, it used to last 24 hours with these things turned on! Obviously something is wrong here. I just want to get it back to that stage.

I did not install any applications that might do this. And even those I did install I uninstalled. Is my phone just going bad?? I've had it for 2 months.

If you're getting the same exact results with a brand new battery, then I'm guessing it could be the phone. If you have everything backed up, I would try and factory reset the phone to see if it's doing the same thing. If so, then I would check to see if you're still under warranty to get it replaced.

has it ever happened to you that your battery life goes from about 29% to dead in a matter of minutes?

Have you downloaded a task killer? I notice that everytime you reboot your phone, it opens up all your apps, which of course drains the hell out of your battery. Try downloading a task killer from the market. It has almost doubled the life of my battery :)

There's a "Battery Usage" app included with the 2.1 upgrade that should give you a better idea where your charge is going. Bluetooth being on seems to be the biggest culprit, I've noticed. But I prefer to keep it on anyway because hands free is now mandatory in my state.
