Root phone locks at s-off when rooting

I'm following the steps in the updated guide. all went well until I get to step 3 (S-OFF, SuperCID and More). The phone powers down and I get the red triangle with !. I removed the battery and reformatted the SD card and tried again. Same results. Can anyone help me on this?

I think you should be in the Inspire 4g forum....i dont think the rooting is the same on the Evo 4g and the Inspire 4g...im assuming each phone has its own rooting guide in the forum....unless someone else can come in quick and correct me if im wrong...
