Help phone mini app opens against my will

Hey guys,
I need your help with this stupid problem. I got my tab 7 plus recently and I noticed that every now and then, the phone's mini app starts without me asking for it; I mean I don't go get it from the mini apps bar.
I don't understand why this happens. It is very annoying. Anyone knows how can I stop this.
