Help phone no longer recieving text messages after app update

After updating the go sms pro application i started to have a lot of text related problems. At first I cpuld not even open the stock messenger and now i cannot recieve text messages at all and ive tried texting myself from different numbers all night. Can someone please help me out. I've had to download a text app for over the data network.and i hate it. Someone please help me. Its killing me, the phone is useless without texting.

that's wired I updated my go SMS and I don't have any problems try uninstalling that app then reinstall again

Already did that. Still got nothing. Even got a new messaging app still nothing.

Take a deep breath.. besides installing go SMS what did you do? It's usually a simple fix.. On a side note.. At least you didn't plug yours in to charge to wake up to an lg screen.. And no people it wasn't hooked up to puter taking the battery out fixed it.. It's good now

Sorry to double post but it is either crappy metro signal or conflicting apps.. Uninstall all the above then check the settings of your messaging app.. stock one.. Try it.. If that didn't work then it's something else..
