I'm based in the UK but am travelling abroad at the moment.
I'm trying to continue SMS conversations with friends in the UK while I'm abroad, but i discovered that a few of them are stored in my phonebook as non-international format numbers - i.e. 07xx rather than +447xx
I've changed their addressbook entries, but the SMS messaging application is refusing to pick up the changed number - it carries on using the old 07xx version.
I don't want to have to delete the conversation but is there any other way of fixing this problem? At the moment, replying to messages is a pain in the a**!
