Help Phone question on my Samsung J4

Hi everyone, I can't quick figure out why when someone leaves a message and I try to listen: the speaker icon has a line through it and you can barely hear the message. This seems to be a default setting as when tapping the screen the line finally disappears and I can listen to my message, then next time the line is there again. Any help please.

That sounds like mute is enabled for some reason.

Yes, and when I tap the mute, it un-mutes and when I return to the page it's muted again.
Is there a setting?

None that I know of. Sorry. You could try resetting to factory settings.
