Help phone says low on disk space but i got 14gb..

i got a boost samsung galaxy prevail .i just got a 16gb micro disk for it.,im trying to install an app and i get a popup saying low on disk space wich doesnt make any sense i still got 13 gb free of space dont even have alot of apps installed on my phone..can someone help please .

The "low memory" is your phone's "Internal Memory", NOT your 16GB SD-Card !!!

In order to get more memory ( using part of your 16GB sd-card ) you need to root your phone and put the ROM CTMod 3.75.2 or CM7 on it.....
