What phone is it? What is still working - does it start at all?

...and also, is it rooted, custom ROM, Chinese... etc. etc. ?

My crystal ball is at the dry cleaners today, and the tea leaves got flushed down the toilet.

Do a factory reset where you will see the former Build and the new build. Click the former build of that device and restart it. Then if possible turn off your device update until you find out what the bug are that causing your device to have those issues from that update.

If you did not root the device and have warranty, send your phone to the repair service, if you have custom recovery, try to flash stock ROM or custom ROM through that custom recovery.
A hard reset won't fix update issues, I once updated my phone and it got all messed up so I sent it to the repair service and they got me a brand new phone because I could not boot up even after doing hard reset.

First go to users and change it to guest after that go to home screen and again to settings and users and then again click on the main user delete the guest afterwards this will allow you to enable developer mode after doing this go ahead with the instructions given on the website hope this helps :)
