    Hello Everyone.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this issue.

I have a STOCK galaxy nexus, just bought it, used it for maybe 4 months. One day i turn it on, and it keeps resetting (stuck in a bootloop)

I understand I have to factory reset the phone, but I have some EXTREMELY sentimental pictures and videos that I really dont want to lose. I have looked all over the internet and found many guides and such, but none seem to make sense to me. I understand how to get my phone into recover mode, odin mode, ect, and have installed the ADB toolkit on my computer but cant seem to figure it out.

My only other option is to send the phone to a 'data recovery' company, who will chrage me 350$ to backup whats on the phone. As sentimental as these pictures are, I really cant afford that. ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks SO much to anyone who can solve my problem

There might be a way do use adb while in recovery, I'm just not sure if the stock recovery can be read as an adb device. I think it can though. If you haven't already, you'll want to install the Samsung usb/adb/fastboot drivers which you can get off their website. It's a quite late here for me, was about to turn in for the night, but if someone else doesn't help you fix it before hand, I'll try to help walk you through it.

I don't think you'll have much luck using adb from within the stock recovery as it doesn't have a functioning daemon to my knowledge.

You might try Android's Save Mode.

In this mode the phone starts only with systems apps and then you might able to transfer your photos to the PC.

Here some info about Save Mode and the procedure with various phones ...
