I have no idea how/when this started but i just started really noticing this about 2-3 weeks ago. When im on my home page and i scroll to the left/right to look at another page, my phone say(depending on the sound level it can be REALLY loud) 'PAGE {whatever} OF {whatever}'. Happens on the app screen too. Found out its associated sound level is with 'music, video, games and other media' but i have no idea where it comes from. Can someone PLEASE help me get rid of this? gave my lady a heart attack last night when i was checking something on my phone at 2am.

Go into settings>accessibility and make sure "talkback" is off. That's the only thing that I can think of at the moment

was thinking that too, for some reason i feel like it started roughly around the time that there was an update for talkback, but ive never even opened it before now. Was in the 'off' setting, i turned it on and then turned it off, still doing.

This happened to me just, I couldn't work it out.

Turns out it happened when I turned on airpush detector in the settings. Very odd glitch, but turning it off fixed it.

I figured it out for me, and I tried EVERYTHING.
I had > LASTPASS < app installed on my tablet.
    It showed up under
System>Accessibility>Services next to TalkBack (another GRIEVOUS thing)
Uninstalled LastPass and Voila, no stinkin' lady saying "Page 2 of 6"
during a meeting at HIGH VOLUME with my tablet supposedly muted.
Only other way I could get rid of her is to 'Mute ALL sounds', which sucked.
