Help phone transmitting sound effects to PC?

I have my phone charging via USB cable to my PC. Now I'm hearing these strange sound effects coming from my PC occasionally, like some notification sounds. It's driving me crazy!

Does the Inspire transmit sounds to the PC? I have it in charge-only connection mode. Or are the sounds coming from something other app on my PC?

BTW, I did do a system upgrade a couple days ago, maybe that changed something. I think I notice it happening exactly every 15 mins (1:00, 1:15, 1:30, etc). So I'm speculating whether it's the phone's clock sending this sound effect?

it wasn't related the phone after all. I found the culprit was a webpage on my PC that had some stupid flash clock that was making the sounds every 15 mins.

Ah, I thought you were talking about the clicking sound that the phone signal will cause the speakers to make if your phone is too close to the speaker's unshielded wiring.
