I flashed my mrs Desire HD phone with Leedroid 3.3.3 (Android 2.3.3) some months back and it was all fine until the last few weeks where it's been turning itself off constantly.

Any suggestions on what to do to rectify? Is there a better rom I should flash or an updated version?

Hi :) I'm going to move this thread into the all things root section as this is most likely a root issue.

Unfortunately I'm not sure what could be causing that issue, but my advice would be to upgrade to the latest LeeDroid which should hopefully solve the issue and plus it has better performance and more stuff :)

You can find the new version here, but please note you need to flash version 5.1.0 first and then flash the 5.1.1 patch afterwards (the 5.1.0 version works fine but there is no voice or data signal at all, the patch fixes this.) You can do one then the other straight away in recovery.

If you get stuck at all let let us know and we'll go through it :)

Thanks for this. I'll try that later

Out of interest should I wipe when flashing version 5? Our will I be able to just flash the ROM?

I would definitely recommend a full wipe, as you'll be going from Android 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 and it may causes a few issues if no wipe is done.

Let us know how you get on :)

    This ^^

I always tend to do a full wipe when flashing a new ROM (even if it's an update... unless the Dev specifically says that you don't need to - you can abck all data etc up with Titanium Backup to be sure anywho :)
