Help Phone Turns Off although it's charged

Although my phone has a charge, my phone turns off and won't come back on. When I put the phone on the charger, the indication that the phone is charging does not come on. Pressing the power button does nothing even while the phone is connected to the charger.

Please assist.

Have you tried pulling the battery and then holding the power button down for 20sec. Then reinstall battery and power up.

If this doesn't help you might think about taking it back.
