Strong light, strong magnifying glass, pointed wooden toothpick.
Look in the charging port. The bar in the middle should be in the middle, not leaning against either side. If it is, CAREFULLY push it back to the center.
Look for TINY dirt balls between the contacts. If you find any, carefully roll them out with the toothpick end.
If not, a visit to the shop may be in order.
