Help Phone vibrates while off and when switching on

Hi all,

New poster here.

My S2 buzzes/vibrates for like a second when charging (even if the battery is taken out) and then sometimes doesn't switch on.
When I try to switch on, it will start loading at the beginning and then turn off and then start buzzing/vibrating again.
It will do this many times before I can manage to start it.

HELP - what's wrong?

Hi mssurrey :hello: Welcome to the forums.

It may be your power button is sticking. Clean around it with compressed air or a toothpick or something and see if that helps.

It's a faulty power button. You'll most likely have to get the phone replaced or fixed. My sister's GS2 has the same problem and I'm sending it in to someone to fix it for $35. I've tried cleaning it like Atmazzz said but no luck.
Not trying to promote the site but it seems that they have fixed many phones with this problem.

I've recommend them many times for bricked phones. I didn't know they did power button repair too. Thanks for the info.

My sister got her phone back in about 8 days and the phone works great.
