Phone will not boot up, please help...

Hello, My Samsung Transform will not boot back up after I did a battery pull. It just sits on the SAMSUNG screen. I'm scared to do a factory wipe because I don't want to lose my contacts. How do I retrieve them? I'm guessing through my gmail account somehow? I also pulled the SD card so I won't lose all my pics. Any advice/help would be great!
And yes I know it's a crappy phone haha.

As long as your contacts are synced with your family account, they will just be there when you sign back in to your phone with that gmail account.
