Im new here and I cannot get my phone to get past the first screen that says Droid Incredible. I tried to search but could not find anything. Im sorry if this has already been answered.

Today I rooted my phone after reading about it a lot and talking to a few of my friends who had done it. I used Unrevoked then installed rom manager (Clockwork Mod). The first thing I wanted to do was a backup so if I messed anything up i could go back to it. I selected this im ROM Manager and it went through a lot of screens and orange bars filled up then it restarted to the Incredible screen and turned off again and again. I hope I didnt break my phone permanently and dont know what to do.

Thank you for any help you could give me.

What should it look like when I select one of the options? When I select one, I get a hat with an orange arrow. If I press the power button again, I go back to the same menu. Is it doing something that it is not showing me? Or is it not working?

you use the trackball button to select, not the power key... it's a common mistake.
