Phone won't charge or turn on

My phone died and I put it to charge but it won't turn on... I left it alone for about half an hour but it'd still not budging... it is an Optimist L9 and from T-Mobile... help!

Leave it for another 23-1/2 hours. Half an hour charge isn't even enough for it to turn off. When a phone dies completely like that (which you shouldn't do - the longest battery life comes from charging it when it's at about 50%), charge it for 24 hours before trying to turn it on.

BTW, that's a charger, not an external power supply. If you charge it while the phone is on you're not charging it, you're just discharging the battery slower. It'll eventually die, then you'll have to leave it on the charger for at least 5 or 6 hours to be able to turn it on.
