Root Phone won't scan for media...

I recently rooted my fascinate with Clockworkmod recovery and after a while my phone wouldn't detect any media (pics, music, vids) on my sd card. If an app required images or wallpapers, those would work fine. Reformatted the card twice and tried it on my pc and another phone, its not the card. I have tried media scanning apps and restarting the phone to get it to scan with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

To amend prior post the apps that won't scan for media are PlayerPro, stock gallery, stock video player, stock music player, Amazon mp3. Apps like Fancy Widgets, Facebook/Twitter, KeepSafe all do fine. It seems anything associated with scanning media will not work.

Just rooted mine and about to update the kernel, hoping all goes (and stays) well.

try going to setting and unmounting sd card a couple of times. ive had this issue in the past. It took a couple tries for it to recognize files.
