Help Phone wont turn on

Hello, i bough this new UMI IRON a few months ago and it was working fine but the last month charging port started acting weirdly. It switched trough charging and not charging ten times a second until I placed it at the right angle and now it doesent react to charger at all. I checked the battery, its alive, discharged it a few time with an LED but phone still wont react to the charger nor turn on. The interesting thing is that the battery itself charges up (checked it with a multimeter and a LED) and it is possible to have the "Boot mode screen" pop up, but it still wont run in neither normal, quick or recovery mode.

So yeah. Any ideas?

if the battery is taking a charge, then the phone is pretty much bricked.

time to look for a new one.... or go to www.swappa.com and find a nice used one.

that is how I found my last one, at a 60% discount for one that looks brand new.
