    i have 2 of every contact in my phone book how do i change it back to one?

    Go to phonebook > menu key > delete contacts > tick all the ones that are not needed.

    Hey there bud, i had this problem last week and found out that it was my google sync was auto replacing my contacts as well as me copying them from my SD card,
    Hope thats of some help fella :D
