Is there a photo viewer which allows folders to be embedded under other folders such that you can organize your photos by topic and not see ever folder on your device? In other words if I create a top level folders such as landscape, places, models, or race cars. Then when I open the viewer that is all I see are the top level folders. Then if I touch a top level folder it will display the folders underneath?

The ones that I've been able to find display all folders with photos in them. When you have a lot of folders, it becomes a challenge to locate the folder you want. This way I could put all of the models I've shot under "Models" and not have them show up as a top level list. Similar to the way you can set up folders on a Windows PC.

Simple Gallery Pro is nice photo manager, that includes a 'Switch to folder view' option, which might suit your needs. It's also an open source app so no direct ties to corporate influences, with a really extensive feature set if you take the time to dig into the app's Settings menu. Plus no ads.

But your query also indicates you can also use just about any file manager app. A file manager app is more suited to work with displaying nested file/folders than a photo manager app.

Welcome to Android Forums, Lyle Mariam! :)

I second F-Stop. I use its Pro (paid) version. It does exactly what you're looking for.

Just FYI, this board is really meant for suggestions/feedback about Android Forums. There are other boards, such as Android Lounge for non-forum related questions.

If you decide to use F-Stop and need any help, let me know! :D
